What we do

From start to finish

Fine Photography - The Process

What to expect from your experience at Fine Photography

We’re looking forward to working with you, be it for your classic family portrait, capturing your new born or making a business investment with headshots. Here’s an overview of our process.

Before the photo shoot

Step 1: Before the photoshoot

  • Contact us and we’ll discuss your portrait idea. We’ll book a visit to the studio for a tour, and we’ll take you through what happens before, during and after the portrait shoot.

  • Make a deposit to secure your time with Nicholas, and a space at our studio, including access to all the resources you need.

Photoshoot Session

Step 2: During the photoshoot

  • Arrive and meet the team. For family sessions - we’ll develop a rapport with your family (the subjects!), they’ll get a tour of the studio and we’ll run them through what to expect regarding lighting and posing. If you’d like to bring your own ‘assistant’ (maybe a parent, nanny or babysitter), they’re welcome to a seat on set and in the dressing room to assist as required.

  • We capture striking photos you’ll be proud to have on your wall and share with friends and family. Or in the case of Corporate and Executive Photography, business cards, LinkedIn profiles and websites to name a few.

  • Upon conclusion of the shoot, we make one final appointment for you to come into the studio to witness ‘the reveal’.

Step 3: The great reveal

  • You are treated to the ultimate luxury experience in our bespoke viewing room, to view and select the portraits you wish to purchase.

Once you finalise your selection, your portraits go through a rigorous post-production phase, so that the ‘Fine Difference’ everyone knows and loves, shines through every shot.

Step 4: Receive your portraits

  • Visit the studio to collect your masterpieces, or we can arrange to have them couriered to you.

  • Display your portraits as intended.
